United's Elite Members Can Now Redeem Their Member Miles for Car Rentals

United's elite members can now redeem their membership miles for free car rentals from Alamo, Avis, Hertz, or National.

The full range of membership classes, according to recent reports, that can change their miles to free rentals include Premier, Premier Executive, or 1K member in the elite class of members.

The miles can also changed to free stays at Marriott and Radisson hotels.

Redemption rates for car rentals include:

# 10,000 miles for two free days of a weekend rental with Avis, Hertz, and National
# 12,000 miles for two free rental days with Alamo
# 12,500 miles for two free days of a weekday rental with Avis, Hertz, and National

When redeeming the miles, you will receive an voucher that you present at at the time of your rental.

In total, you can redeem up to 150,000 miles per year for car (and hotel) awards.
