Starting Cyber Cafe
Starting cyber cafe takes planning similarly to what any other business would take. Here are some of the considerations you may undergo.
One of the most important things to consider is the target group of customers you want into your internet cafe. This group should be such that there is demand for your cyber cafe, they bring enough revenue that your business is profitable, and that there are no obstacles, such as too much competition, to lessen the probabilities of the business to succeed. You may do ad hoc surveys, without writing much down, of all these features, such as what types of people are likely use internet cafe in your planned location/city, or, you can do a detailed business plan for your cyber cafe. There are many people who have started successful businesses with just an idea, without a formal business plan, and they have been very successful, such as Richard Branson on many fields of commerce. However, writing your business plan down and thinking about what might go wrong and how to improve things that make the business prosper, in my opinion, is a much safer way towards successful entrepreneurship. If you decide to do such a business plan, you should not just download some pre-filled business plan that gives you facts and figures. Instead, you should do your own research within tried and trusted business plan frameworks that have been used in the past. The other option is to go the franchise route, which is to say, you take up a franchise, which will cost you some start up capital, but in return, you typically get a brand that is recognized and a business plan that has worked in the past.
