Philadelphia Restaurant Week
Philadelphia restaurant week is held twice yearly, organized by the Philadelphia Center City District. Center City District, who organizes the events, is a private-sector sponsored municipal authority that is committed to providing supplemental services that make Philadelphia’s downtown clean, safe and attractive. Center City District’s twice-yearly Restaurant Week has become a major event, making it possible for locals and tourists to sample from among dozens of Center City restaurants that offer fixed-price dinners during the events. As a proof of the success, in 2004, more than 110,000 meals were served during the two Restaurant Weeks held in Philadelphia. Philadelphia Restaurant Week DatesAs stated, the Philly Restaurant Week is held twice a year, similarly to restaurant weeks in NYC, for example. The first Restaurant Week in Philadelphia is usually held at the start of the year, in January. The other event is normally held around the middle of the year, and the exact date is usually revealed close to the event time. For the latest updates on what restaurants participate in the Restaurant Week, you can check out Center City District's website, located at www.centercityphila.org.
