LM car rental has rental locations in Florida, Texas, Georgia, and Puerto Rico. "L & M" in their name not only stands for Land & Mobility, but also for "Less Money".

LM started its operations over 35 years ago in the island of Puerto Rico.

From the original fleet of 7 vehicles in Puerto Rico, they have grown to a fleet of over 600 passanger vehicles in the peak season.

In fact, they are the the biggest local car rental company in Puerto Rico with locations all over the island, including two counters at the International Airport terminal.

Also, since 1998, they have expanded their service from the island of Puerto Rico to mainland U.S., to Florida, Georgia, and Texas.

In Orlando, the company has a fleet of cars ranging from Economy to Luxury, Minivan to SUV, with over 2,000 vehicles, located at the Orlando airport.

The Orlando operation has been very successful, as, according to Orbitz.com, about half of the car rentals for Orlando go for the smaller rental agencies, such as LM.

In Orlando, the last time I checked Orbitz.com for car rental rates, L&M was the cheapest of the car rental companies located "In Terminal".

L & M is an affiliate of E-Z Car Rental company, so you'll find the two companies co-serving the locations they are at.
