Internet Cafe Jobs

Internet cafe jobs are not very common, and your best bets are to inquire with the bigger franchises/operators and job search websites.

The bigger franchises, such as easyInternetCafe in Europe, have tens of staff in the bigger locations (such as the easyInternetCafe opposite Munich train station) and operate 24/7.

The bigger the location and the more hours they operate, the more workers they need and the bigger the staff turnover is likely to be, meaning more opportunities to get a job there.

Typical jobs inside a cybercafe include managing the front desk where customers pay for the time usage and purchase additional staff that the cafe sells, such as drinks, empthy CDs for burning, or anything else for sale.

All the cybercafes also have constant need to have technical staff on their roster, meaning ability to fix software and/or hardware problems, often in co-operation with outside consultants that the company has used to fix computer problems in the past.

Most of the cyber cafes are in fact mom-and-pop type of small operations where the owner is often one of the few employees and turnover of staff is minimal to non existent.

These small net cafes might need consulting type of advice especially on their computer software/hardware problems, for which you could charge hourly fees, on call basis.

Finally, you can use the job search engines for finding employment in internet cafes. These search engines include monster.com, dice.com, and flipdog.com.

If location is not important to you and you just want the experience from working on an internet cafe, there are places which see customers and need more staff periodically. For example, ski centers and their internet cafes near cities in the Rockies, for example, have more staffing needs during the long Winter months.
