Indian Budget Airline City Air to Launch by January

City Air, a budget airline that aims to serve domestic Indian market, is a business launched by the Dubai-based Keralite businessman Aniyan Kutty.

Initially, City Air will operate with three A320 aircrafts that will operate about 18 flights a day.

As of now, the routes are being finalized, but the routes will be domestic.

Previously Aniyan Kutty is known for owning a premier shipping company in Dubai, and he’ll hold (together with his wife) about 34 percent stake in the new company.

The businessman has also gained fame for his wide business interests in the Kerala region of Indian, which include significant investments in Dimensions Software, headquartered at the local Technopark campus.
