dubai luxury cruise line launched
According to the Dubai Department of Tourism Commerce and Marketing, there’s now a new luxury cruise line service between Dubai and Arabian Gulf destinations of Bahrain , Qatar and Oman.
Initially, there will be two round trips between Dubai and Oman , Qatar and Bahrain every week, on Thursdays and Fridays. The new cruise service is operated by Lebanon-based Abou Merhi Cruises. Their cruise ship, M V Orient Queen, will be dedicated to this route until May 2006. Dubai, a major regional tourism destination, sees increased demand for cruise tourism in the area, and this service will service those demands. The luxury ship M V Orient Queen has 336 staterooms and 56 suites on offer. The 400-member crew includes European and Lebanon nationals. Attractions onboard include cultural entertainment, gourmet cuisine, sports facilities, duty-free shopping and a complete spa.
