Denver French Restaurants

One of the characteristics of French cuisine is the vast variety of styles found within French cooking.

Traditionally, each region in France has produced their own style of cooking. Perhaps the best known is the Provençal cuisine, which favors olive oil, herbs, and tomatoes.

However, the French cuisine that is mostly available outside of France (and in Denver) is mostly influenced by the regional cuisines of northern France, and it's sometimes called Paris high cuisine.

Apart from the restaurants listed below, French cuisine is typically served at the many upper-scale hotel restaurants found at or near downtown.
