Cyber Cafe Terminals

The selection of suitable cyber cafe terminals is one of the important considerations when starting an internet cafe business.

For many, the terminal selection is a balancing act between style, price, and convenience for the customer.

For style, flat screen displays and modern keyboards may be more expensive option, but the style will save precious space and the technology inside will not be obsolete in any time soon.

Often, the computer itself is hidden from view, under the table, so that style considerations do not really play into choosing the computer unit.

There are, however, manufacturers that have hardware solutions to the selling of time units problem of cyber cafes, where you put a hardware stick to the computer unit to unlock the unit, to prevent unauthorized use.

Price is also an important consideration, as a start up internet cafe does not yet know how much income will be actually generated from the internet cafe.

Therefore, many opt to buy a little older terminals that are sold for deep discounts, bundled with the fact that the bulk purchase will discount the price even deeper.

Convenience for the customer should also play a part in the selection process. If the cyber cafe is primarily a gaming cafe, the terminals need to be such that they are easy to use for online gaming.

To that end, a test, focus group of internet users can be a good idea, with which you can test the equipment you are considering to purchase.
