Cyber Cafe Lighting

Cyber cafe lighting is an important consideration for internet cafe owners, as it is an integral part of how people will perceive the cybercafe.

Typically, there is no cookie cutter answer to how to arrange the lighting, as you have to consider the type of internet cafe you're running.

If your customer base consists of people who need office-away-from-office type of services (as is the case for many cybercafes located attached to business hotels), functional office lighting will give a professional look and feel for your cafe.

For gaming cafes the lighting is often very different, and much more intimate than in most other types of cybercafes. This is because a much too bright lighting would distract from the gaming experience.

Those that cater to the needs of tourists are often best of with typical cafe lighting, which is to say the lighting is soft and casual, highlighted by the fact that many of these internet cafes actually have a functional cafe side to their business.

If you're unsure to what type of lighting to choose, you can always visit existing cybercafes and get tips from there, or consult an expert in the field for advice.
