Cyber cafe LAN

Cyber cafe LAN connection type is often dependent on what type of cafe you have, gaming cafe, tourist cyber cafe, or office cyber cafe, for example.

Because the gaming centered cyber cafes use very broadband intensive resources, they also need the most available bandwidth.

It may be very hard to configure the real needed peak bandwidth need beforehand without signing up to a chain of cybercafes that have experience in the field.

You can gain this knowledge by talking to other non-competitive cybercafe owners that are running similar cafes elsewhere, adequate distance away.

Most other types of internet cafes are typically less bandwidth intensive, as most tourist oriented cybercafes, for example, are places where people send emails, update their blogs, or burn their digital photos to a DVD.

Many also cater to the needs of people who bring their own laptops. The laptop connection may be behind a password or not, and for a fee or not, but most likely there are not too many who use this type of service each day.

The good things about bandwidth is that you can upgrade your cybercafe's connection as you go, within a very short turnaround time, which also means that you can start with a conservative estimate of how much bandwidth you need.
