celebrity cruise lines

Celebrity Cruise Lines, established in 1989, aims to deliver high quality, superior design, spacious accommodations, grand style, attentive service and exceptional cuisine.

In 1997, the company merged with Royal Caribbean International to form Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.

In a nutshell, the company is an upscale line that delivers "premium" cruising offered at an reasonable price.

As examples of the luxurious offerings of the company, three-star Guide Michelin master chef and culinary consultant Michel Roux designs food service and trains executive restaurant staff.

Also, in 1995 the company introduced a new type of fleet wide spa program. It was the first commissionable spa and fitness package to be sold as part of a cruise vacation.

Celebrity Cruise Line has been widely recognized as one of the top luxury cruise lines.

For example, Seven Celebrity ships ranked in the top 10 in Condé Nast Traveler’s annual “Best Cruise Ships in the World” survey, results of which were published in the February 2004 edition.

Destinations

As for ships, the cruise line operates 11 different ships, with such Condé Nast award-winning ships as Celebrity Century (815 feet long cruise ship for 1,750 passangers) to Celebrity Zenith (682 feet long cruise ship for 1,374 passangers).
